As a Fashion Buyer, I travelled the world.  I always made a beeline for the vintage stores and I shopped some amazing ones especially in the USA.  I would leave my bags at the till, roll up my sleeves and let my creativity run wild.

I understand shopping vintage can be overwhelming, there is an art to it, but I can help you learn how to shop it with confidence, it's my natural retail habitat and where I thrive.

My Top Tips

Gather inspiration - think about what it is you are looking for, create a mood board before you shop.

Your outfit - wear something simple that you can slip items over, fitting room space may be limited.

Hands free - you want able to see every individual piece, I advise you carry a light rucksack or bumbag so you can rummage.

Shop sections -  good vintage stores will merchandise by product type, stay focused and shop each section well.

Hit and miss - you might not find a treasure every time, just like when you shop you favourite brand, don't be disheartened.
